Calor Universal

2022

GROUP EXHIBITION
Calor Universal2022
The exhibition was held at Pace Gallery in East Hampton, New York, and brought together an intergenerational group of artists from both within and outside the gallery's program, ranging from modernist canon to contemporary names. It explored the concept of "universal heat" as a means of sublimation, a vehicle for transforming material and spiritual states. The artworks engaged with themes of transcendence and transmutation, evoking the complex and mysterious dynamics of nature. The exhibition design comprises a series of original devices resembling different blocks of a supercontinent. These organic forms serve as guides, leading visitors through a unique and immersive exhibition experience. The exhibition creates a space where visitors can engage with the artworks, exploring the interconnectedness of the themes and experiencing a sense of discovery and wonder.
