GROUP EXHIBITION
Semana sim, semana não2022
The group exhibition was part of the various activities commemorating the centenary of the Week of Modern Art in 1922. Its objective was to intersect with its histories and critically reconsider the nature and effects of the inaugural moment of Modernism in Brazil. Specifically conceived in relation to the physical qualities of Casa Zalszupin, it brought together a collection of works produced under the modernist vein and another set of works created in recent years. Artworks juxtaposed and contrasts gestures that seek to synthesize landscapes, bodies, and their disposition in the continuum of life, revealing sequential movements as well as unavoidable conflicts and contrasts that mark realities separated by a century.
